Here’s to a restful weekend ahead! Time to let the brain and body rest in order to heal and feel refreshed to keep moving forward next week.➡️ This past week has been a challenging one for me to say the least. There has been an introduction of new tasks to challenge my brain, leaving me fatigued and very symptomatic with increased headaches, body aches and anxiety. When symptoms set in, they can easily make you feel like you can’t do this and you want to quit. For me this is never an option, as I have too much to live for but let me tell you, on the tough days it can be hard to see the light… ✨Over time I have become very in tune to my mind, body and soul. Learning to rest when needed, not give up! 😴I do long for the “old me” where I could handle/balance all the things ~ work life, home life, friends and everything in between. Nowadays it’s a struggle to balance it all. Something always has to give or be taken off the list for the day or week in order to get through. I will get there.. It just takes time! ⏳Forward is forward, no matter how slow or fast you move. On the tough weeks it feels like I’m taking two steps backwards while trying to step forward. 🔙I need to remind myself constantly that healing is not linear and to be patient, kind and compassionate with myself. Progress over perfection always!! ‼️💯💫 #rest #dontquit #healing #recovery #tbi #braininjury #concussion #pcs #moveforward #progress #PardonMyPositivity March 4, 2017 / Morning Motivation / 0 comment View in Instagram ⇒ Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
